T1L TOURNAMENT SERIES UNIVERSAL RULES

These rules apply to every team, every player, and every game mode. No exceptions. Not knowing a rule does not excuse breaking it.

MAGFED ONLY

All markers must be magazine-fed. Hoppers of any kind are strictly prohibited. Any player found using a hopper will be removed from the game immediately and the team receives a match penalty.

NO BOX MAGS

Box magazines are not permitted at any point during the event. Standard stick mags only. Any player found using a box mag will be removed from the game immediately and the team receives a match penalty.

NO GUN HITS

Body hits only. A paintball that strikes your marker, tank, or any part of your equipment does not count as an elimination. Paint on your body ends your game.

NO SURRENDER

There are no bang-bang calls, no mercy rules, and no surrender mechanic. The only way to eliminate a player is a confirmed paint hit on the body.

NO SHIELDS

Physical shields, barriers carried by players, or any object used as mobile cover are not permitted. You play with your body and your marker. Nothing else.

NO BLIND FIRING

You must have a clear, direct visual line of sight to your target before firing. Sticking your marker around a corner and pulling the trigger without looking is an automatic penalty.

NO LASER SIGHTS

Laser targeting devices of any kind are prohibited on all markers. This includes visible and infrared laser systems.

NO GRENADES

Paint grenades, smoke grenades, and any grenade-style devices are not permitted on any field during any game mode.

NO VERTICAL SHOOTING

Shooting directly upward or directly downward is prohibited. All fire must be directed horizontally within reasonable field of play angles.

CALL YOUR HITS

If you are hit, raise your marker immediately, call HIT loudly, and exit the field. There is no grace period, no wiping, and no arguing a call. If you took paint, you're out.

REF CHECK

If you are unsure whether a hit on you is confirmed, raise your marker, stop firing, and call REF CHECK. A referee will come to you. Do not continue playing while in doubt.

CHEATING

Any player confirmed to be wiping hits, hiding paint, or otherwise cheating will be disqualified from that game. The team will also receive a minus one tournament point penalty on their pool play total.

REF CONDUCT

Arguing with, abusing, or intimidating a referee in any way will result in the entire team being disqualified from the event. Referees have final say on all calls. Dispute it calmly or not at all.
